We had a free airshow at the lakefront today. Being fans of things that are cool, and things that are free, and especially things that are cool and free, we had to go down for it. Here are a couple of pictures:

As you can see, the PT likes to use binoculars in her own inimitable way.
The Jewish Nursing home and retirement home happen to overlook Veteran's Park, making for a great place from which to view the show.

Sounds like fun. When I used to live in Cleveland, every Labor Day was the lakefront airshow with the Blue Angels.
Cool! Looks like fun!
We just went to our own airshow this past May. It was fun.
You have your own airshow? Man, I wish I could afford an airplane
;-)
Nice pics!
How's this for coincidence...
I am looking at these photos thinking I haven't been to an airshow in a while when 5 CF-18 hornet tactical fighters do a low pass over Our building. It's kind of fun to work near the Airport.
Translation CF-18 Hornet (in Canadian English) F/A-18 Hornet(in American English) (-:

The day before this show we were out in our back yard and 4 of the F-18s flew right over our house.
